Module 1, Task 11: OPTIONAL - Reflection

this is an optional task

Reflect on Module 1 (20 minutes)

Throughout the course at the end of each module, you will be asked to reflect on the module content. Revisit new concepts, teaching ideas, and opinions shared in the discussion forums, think about them more deeply, and consider their relevance for your practice. In other words, you will be asked to reflect-in-action, describe and explain your immediate reactions to the module content, as well as to reflect-on-action, consider how you can thoughtfully and meaningfully adapt new ideas to enrich your teaching practice. Reflection will help you internalize new ideas from the content and it will help course facilitators gain better insight as to what you have taken in.

Let’s look at the reflection task for this week:

Think about the organic garden metaphor and how you can apply it in your context. What can you do straight away? What restrictions do you have? How can you overcome them?

Respond to these questions in your journal. This reflection will not be submitted through Canvas.

REMINDER: This task is OPTIONAL, and it is NOT assessed, which means that it does not count toward your final grade.
