Reflect on Module 2 (20 minutes)



In Module 2, we explored how to design memorable grammar presentations and how to select and structure grammar practice activities. First, we talked about how to design an effective grammar presentation. Then, we discussed how different grammar practice activities can help learners improve their accuracy and fluency. After that, you analyzed a lesson plan and shared your views in the discussion forum. Additionally, some of you completed optional tasks.


Think about what you learned in Module 2. Respond to the following questions in your journal (you will not submit this reflection through Canvas):

  1. How has this week been useful to you?
  2. What new ideas have you discovered?
  3. What did you find interesting /puzzling?


REMINDER: This task is OPTIONAL, and it is NOT assessed, which means that it does not count toward your final grade.

    Selecting an appropriate task for a particular group of students is the first and perhaps most important step in ensuring the success of a TBLT lesson.
