What kind of error correction works? How do we know? (45 minutes)

 

There is no one best method of error correction for all students and all occasions. As a teacher, you have to consider many factors before deciding when and how to correct your students’ mistakes. In this task, you will learn about advantages and disadvantages of several error correction techniques and then use this knowledge to match the classroom situations in which students make mistakes with the most appropriate correction strategies listed.
