Question 1
/ 2 pts
The students do a role-play in groups of three and many of them make the same unimportant grammar error, but it doesn't stop them from communicating.

Yes!  This is freer practice and the errors don't inhibit communication.  Immediate correction would take away from the fluency practice.

Question 2
/ 2 pts
A student, without knowing, uses an expression incorrectly and, by mistake, makes everyone laugh. This makes him embarrassed.

Correct.  The communication stopped once the class started laughing and the student is feeling ashamed.  Stepping in with the correct expression will be both memorable and appreciated.

Question 3
/ 2 pts
A shy teenager gives a short talk about his favorite football player. He often leaves out the verb to be in his sentences.

Correct!  If you correct this shy student in front of his peers while he is presenting, the shame will be doubled.  The error probably did not hinder communication and a slower, more deliberate correction later would have more impact.

Question 4
/ 2 pts
A learner reports back after a pairwork activity. He makes a couple of slips with language he already knows.

Correct! As these are slips of the tongue, a gentle reminder or self-correction will put him further down the road towards not making the mistake again.

Question 5
/ 2 pts
A group of students take part in a class discussion. One student presents her argument but makes several errors which result in miscommunication. The other students in the class cannot follow her argument.

Yes!  As the student's errors are causing miscommunication, the task really can't proceed until the other classmates understand what is being said.
